Join me, Agi, your personal Sommelier, as we travel virtually and taste 4 classic grape varieties from around the world. We will talk about wine styles, the passionate people behind them, the unique terroir from which they come and favorite food pairings.
We will ask important questions like:
“Did you ever wonder if the monks really kept those vows of silence during harvest season?”
and
“If I ask for white wine with my steak, will the Sommelier shutter in disbelief?”
To get the most out of your tasting, choose at least one of the following wines I will be showcasing:
2. 2019 Mâcon-Villages Chardonnay, Drouhin, Burgundy, France
3. 2019 Decoy Pinot Noir, Duckhorn, California, USA
If the wine you want is not available in your area, ask your favorite wine merchant for a wine with the same grape varietal, style and region. All wines are generally between $10- $20 / bottle.
We might not be able to visit the wineries now, but the wines can come to us! It’s the next best thing to being there.
