What is included in the Iconic Downtown Tour cost?
A 3-hour guided city walking tour by a professional guide/wine professional. Visits to 3 venues include 3 wines at each venue (9 total), appetizer pairings as well as all taxes and restaurant staff gratuity. In addition, your guide offers cultural, historical, and architectural insight along the way.
What is not included in the ticket price?
Red Grapevine Tours Ltd. does not include gratuity for the tour guide. If you enjoyed yourself, gratuities are greatly appreciated and accepted by your tour guide, although never mandatory. The standard gratuity for a tour guide in the service industry is 15%-20%.
How much wine and food are served on the Red Grapevine Iconic Downtown tour?
Red Grapevine Tours, Ltd. offers 2 small plate appetizers at each venue visited for a total of at least 6 entrees. Each wine pour is 2 oz.
Are cameras allowed on the tour?
Of course! We highly recommend you take photos to cherish the memories of your tour. In fact, please share them on Facebook and Instagram or email them to us so that we can share them too!

Does the tour end at the same place we begin?
We will end at a different location which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the original meeting place.
Will I enjoy Red Grapevine’s wine and food tasting coming on my own?
We often host singles (both out-of-towners and locals looking to share a wine and food experience). We have found that most people who take our tours are adventurous, sociable, and are open to meeting new people. If you are open to meeting new people and sharing great wine and food with others, you will have a wonderful time on our tours.
Who is eligible to come on the tour?
Anyone over 21 is eligible to come on a Red Grapevine wine and culinary tour.
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Yes. Please use our registration page to book your tickets and reserve your spot. For private tours, please call 312.998.9289 or email us at info@redgrapevine.com.
Are restrooms available during the tour?
Yes. Each venue has restrooms available.
Do you offer corporate and/or private group tours?
We can accommodate a variety of special requests including family reunions, birthday parties, out-of-town guests, and corporate groups.
What happens in the case of inclement weather?
Our tours are held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather however, we will be able to go inside all of the establishments on the tours. We advise you to check the weather conditions for your tour date and dress/prepare appropriately. Be comfortable and condense your belongings to the smallest bag possible.
How much walking is involved?
The total distance walked is less than a mile.
What if I have food allergies? Can you accommodate me on the tour?
We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions if known in advance.
What if we are late?
Our tours do begin promptly at the scheduled time. If you are scheduled for a tour and know you are running behind schedule, please call us at 312.998.9289 to let us know before the tour begins so that we can give you directions on where to meet us en route.

What is your cancellation policy?
Tickets are non-refundable as your ticket guarantees a place on the tour and wine and food is ordered in advance.
