The Iconic Downtown Tour
The Iconic Downtown Tour is perfect for singles, locals, or tourists looking to share a wine and food experience. We have found that most people who take our tours are adventurous, sociable, and are open to meeting new people. If you are open to meeting new people and sharing great wine and food with others, you will have a wonderful time on our tour.
Must be 21 + to attend
What’s included:
- 3-hour guided city walking tour by a professional guide/wine professional
- total walking distance less than a mile
- visits to 3 different venues
- 3 wines at each venue (9 total : 2 oz. each) paired with appetizers
- 2 small plate appetizers at each venue visited (6 total entrees)
- all taxes and restaurant staff gratuity
- cultural, historical, and architectural insights along the way
Venue locations are at the discretion of the tour guide and are subject to change. Contact your guide beforehand to learn more.
Please check your calendar before purchasing your tickets. Once sold, tickets are non-refundable.

Parking
Nearby on-street parking is not available and use of public transportation is strongly encouraged. The closest CTA train station is the Washington/Wabash station which serves the Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, and Purple lines and is within walking distance to the tours starting location. In addition, there is a nearby Red line station at Lake, and it is also within walking distance. There are also many parking garages located around the city. The nearest parking garages to the Atwood Café are the Wabash-Randolph Parking Garage and the Block 37 Garage which have varying prices.
Restrooms
Each venue has restrooms available for use.
Forms of Identification
All guests must be 21 years of age or older and will be required to present a valid, government-issued photo identification (detailed below), if requested.
The following forms of photo ID are acceptable for presentation upon entry to the venues:
- Valid government-issued United States identification card (e.g. driver’s license, military ID, etc.)
- Valid United States or other official government-issued passports
No other forms of identification will be accepted; photocopies, expired IDs, or other transmissions of these documents are NOT valid.
